In what typically Canadian way will you celebrate Canada Day & this long weekend?
Today begins the long weekend for most of us, and though Tuesday is our official day to commemorate Confederation or Canada Day, many are already joining the party..
How will you celebrate? Where in this vast land will you choose to spend time and how will you show your appreciation for life in one of the largest countries in the world? How will you celebrate being a part of Canada and being Canadian?
Thank you ALL for answering my question. I’ve taken a moment to reflect on the enjoyment you’ve all brought with your answers:
Ed, If you’d have offered to share the salmon, your answer might have triggered my BA finger…
Anonymous, Golf – mini – is my bag. Otherwise your answer might have been a hole in one.
Curictas, I looked for you at the Fireworks display, but somehow missed you in the crowd. Otherwise your answer hit home.
Autumn, My daughter looked for you over at the Stampede grounds. Two thumbs up to you for celebrating Canada Day in a great city.
Lady, Happy B’Day x 2! If you had been as old as Canada, I’d have picked yr answer 🙂
Lori, Thanks for the Dominion Day reminder. I remember those days.
LT, We celebrate for 2 days this year here, which is still shorter than the 9 or 10 for July 4 south of the border…!
Jayde, Salmon almost won me over again, along with your beer humour too 🙂
Candy, Did you go on the Bohemoth before or after the fireworks?!
