Posted May 29th, 2010 by immigratecanada and filed in Uncategorized

Alright I have a question about immigration.I’m orginally from Canada and I applied for my greencard about a month ago. I recieved a notice of action receipt for application to register pernament residence , application for travel document and application for employment authorization document.. So anyways in the one document quote “the next step is to have your biometrics taken, IF REQUIRED at a US citizenship and immigration services USCIS” Grr so confusing?!! If required, how do I know if its required?! help me out:) Okay and then besides all that…So how long could it take for my biometrics appointment to be made? I researched online and it says it could take 1-3 months!!! Is this true? Anyone ever been in this position? Okay and then again…besides ALL that…if I recieve a notice that my appointment was in say 2 months…so lets say I went in 2 months…after my biometrics appointment can I visit Canada? Or do I have to wait for anotherletter
I’ve already applied for advance parole…
regarding people who went through immigration and accessed this site:www.uscis.gov How long was it after you recieved your notice of receipt, that you could access information on this site in regards to your case?
