Canadian Values?
My fiance and I, after we’re married, are moving to Canada (we live in Minnesota now).
We know all the benefits, Socialized medicine, the whole wonderful green movement you’ve got going on, but, what we dont know, and what we need to know, before we undertake the long and arduous journey of emmigration, is what values do canadians hold?
About things like abortion? the death penalty? gay rights?
And also, really, how is the medical treatment youre recieving?
Our motivator for moving is to find a better, safe, cleaner place to live in order to raise a family, and ive always had a deep respect for the ways Canada runs their country.
I’m not looking for a reason not to go, i just want to understand my new (and better) homeland before i make the move.
… I’m not insulting canada… but i can see where you’d get that from “I want to move to your great country.”
