Traveling through Canada, are pets required to be kenneled or behind barrier?

I will be traveling from the lower states through Canada and up to Alaska. While in Canada, are pets required to be in a kennel (or behind a barrier) while traveling in a vehicle?

My dog is usually just sitting in the back of my Jeep.

What is the current policy for US Permanent Residents traveling to Canada and back to the US?

We are going to Canada and my spouse is a United States Permanent Resident. What do we need to bring to travel to Canada? I am asking pertaining to both of us. I am a US Citizen. I checked the official sites, but couldn’t find what I was looking for pertaining to my spouse specifically. We are traveling in the end of the month. If possible, can you please send a link of your source of information?

How much are the tolls from Chicago to the ME border with Canada? Traveling mostly on I-90?

Chicago to Halifax, NS (Canada) but I think most of the tolls is just in the US on I-90. Thanks for the help!
Chicago to Halifax, NS (Canada) Most of the driving on I-90 in the US. Will either be:

1) A Cargo Van
2) A Penske 16 ft truck towing a car (off ground)
3) A Penske 22ft truck towing a car (off ground)

I have a Scotia Bank account in BC. I am going to be traveling across the line for some fall shopping. Can I use my debit card in the states although its from Canada? Do I have to contact my bank and make specifications, will it work at all cause the currency difference? Help I’m so confused.
