Upon finishing their degree, they will be able to apply for a working permit visa up to three years. Once they have gained the one year Canadian working experience that is required to immigrate, they could submit their application for a permanent residence visa under the Canadian Experience Class, while they are continuing working in Canada for the remainder of 2 years. This way, they do not have to leave Canada and the best part is that they could still earn money to support themselves; therefore their transition will be much easier. • Skilled Workers living outside Canada Applicants that are living outside Canada and have an occupation that is listed on the Canada Immigration Occupation List, they could apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Class. Hi, I’m a student nurse from Leeds, England and have arrived home after visiting Toronto on a short 2 week placement as part of nursing degree course. I have fallen in love with the place and would love to return in the near future to live and work. I just wondered if anybody had any tips of advice on where to start?
Thanks for your help!
