When on F2 and you go for stamping for H1b to mexico/Canada, can they revoke your F2?
My wife is on F2 now, and has approved h1 from last years quota. She wants to go for stamping to Canda/Mexcio (pls suggest which one is bettter). Is there a possibility that they take away her F2 if she is rejected H1b.. please advice asap

I Want to apply for my family in India for Canadian immigration in family sponsored scheme.My family includes my parents and a mentally disabled brother who is 23 ,will he be granted Canadian immigration since he mentally disabled and dependent on my parents?I meet one lawyer he suggested me that Canadian immigration doesn’t grant immigration to mentally disabled as they consider them as liability and because of that reason even my parents will be denied immigration.Can someone who has knowledge tell me what should I do in this case,please put some light on my case

Are there any background checks for American citizens visiting Canada? I have a court date in a few months for a misdemeanor marijuana charge and I am thinking about visiting Canada with some friends during my month off from college over winter break. Do they look that kind of stuff up, and if so, would I be unelgible to cross the border? I visited Mexico a couple of years back by (legally) walking over the border at Tijuana and nobody even checks you when you cross over, there were no guards or anything, only when you’re trying to get back in to America do they do a check. Is it the same for Canada? I plan to do the same for my trip to Canada, visit a border city and just walk over the border.
