Possibly emigrating to Canada in the future – suggestions?

Hi all.
I am 18 years old and live in the UK. I have unfortunetly been very ill for the last 3 or 4 years with Lyme disease – it’s a long story, but basically I was misdiagnosed for a long time, so the infection has spread and it is proving very difficult to eradicate. I should hopefully be better within the next 18 months or so though.
Now being ill all this time has enabled me to think clearly and plan my life out. I have decided that I would really like to emigrate to another country, Canada being my favourite. I have many reason for wanting to emigrating from the UK and I won’t go into details here.
Because I have been so ill, I have been unable to finish my education and have been learning at home.
I am not sure if I should stay here in the UK and finish my education, or move to Canada to study there, then live there as a citizen – I don’t know if that’s possible?
I am undecided which provice, etc. I would like to live in and would appreciate some suggestions.

Looking for a lawyer to do Canada Immigration, any suggestions?
