Is it true that canada immigration visa officers prefer married applicants than the singles?

Most people I ask about Canadian immigration visa applications say that married applicants are more likely to be approved than single applicants because of the adaptability reasons. I’m single and may reach the pass mark of 67 points for canadian immigration but worried because I do not have relatives in Canada and no husband to add another points in my application. If ever I can prove the 67 points I claim, will my status as single affect the decision of the visa officer to grant an immigration visa?
