Do I have to pay taxes on law suit money (case settled in Canada) to Canadian government, I am a US citizen?
I had a car accident in Canada, but I am a US resident. My case will be settled based on my physical injuries. Do I have to pay taxes to Canadian IRS on my settlement money?
