Inuit vs Commercial Seal Hunt in Canada – Part 1
In order to find shelter from the withering animal rights movement the Canadian government has embarked on a well documented strategy to use the noble Inuit people as human shields. The commercial slaughter of hundreds of thousands of baby seals off the coast of Newfoundland/Labrador has long been contested as inhumane by the rest of the world. Bureaus inside Canada, like the Department of External Affairs, has long sought to deceive animal rights protesters and government bodies around the world. The Canadian government has repeatedly attempted to blur a clear line between the uncontested Inuit subsistence hunt and the wasteful White slaughter of baby harp seals. By in large the Inuit do not hunt harp seals and they most certainly do not target baby seals as does the despicable commercial seal hunt for fur.
