Immigration to canada NEW RULES?

Posted April 30th, 2010 by immigratecanada and filed in Uncategorized

hi everyone!
I have applied for immigration to canada as skilled worker under “Biomedical engineer” in Oct2008 but then a letter came to me
that this occupation does not correspond to the ones in the list and that due to the new rules which are legislated in Jan 2008 my application cant be processed furthur.
I need to know if my 1 year experience in service department of a biomedical engineering company regarding repair and installation of meical systems and devices can be taken under category of “Electrician(Except industrial and power system) ” of the new occupation list or not.
I wonder if I am eligible to send a new application under this category I mean if It is related to my job experience or not.

P.S medical systems are maily electronic systems used in hospitals and consist of electronic boards.

reply from lawers is appreciated!!!
thanks in advance
