Should i hire a lawyer or apply for canadian permanent residency on my own?
Some tell me that an immigration lawyer isn’t necessary, since he will not be able to make the process go any faster. Others say it makes a lot of sense to use a lawyer since this is his area of expertise and i need to make sure everything is done perfectly.
Can a visitor to Canada apply for Canadian work permit/permanent residency?
I was wondering if someone who goes to Canada on a visitors visa, finds a job in Canada and the employer offers a job letter, will that be enough for the Canadian immigration authorities to allow the individual to apply for a Work permit or Permanent Residency? Will he/she need to leave Canada to before applying for the Work Visa/Permanent Residency?
Can my American husband work in Canada while waiting for his Canadian Permanent Residency?
My sister married her husband in Las Vegas but they want to start their lives together in Canada. Can they wait in Canada for their Canadian paperwork, or work while in Canada? Can the kids go to school in Canada? Does she have to apply for a US visa to stay longer than 180 days while she waits for her family’s paperwork?
Is it better to apply for a residency for living in Canada or get a work permit first?
Im not sure what the procedure is…I know I can apply for residency as a skilled professional but is there an easier way i.e. is it better to find a job first and get a work permit? expired next year summer. I don’t think I can get the approval before the expiry date. Do I have to leave Canada after work permit is expired? Can I be a student in Canada and can wait to the approval? I am a Japanese.
