query about canada work permit?

just like to know whether canada offer 3 years work permit for foreign nationals…
because i heard for 2 years but my job agent says i will b getting 3 years wp…is he cheating…

immigration to canada – medical test query?
I had a routine chest x-ray but the Canadian Medical officer requested I have my sputum incubated and tested for T.B as there was an “abnormality.” This I will not do as it’s too expensive, but my beef is that the embassy in London will not tell me exactly what the abnormality is. Apparently, the chest x-ray was ok and the National Health Service will not fund any testing so, I’m stuck and want to know what the abnormality is and how to proceed-it is my health after all, thanks for any heap
p.s I used to smoke but stopped in 2007
