Some tell me that an immigration lawyer isn’t necessary, since he will not be able to make the process go any faster. Others say it makes a lot of sense to use a lawyer since this is his area of expertise and i need to make sure everything is done perfectly.

I have gone through the documentation but they are asking for alot of cash from me and my family to immigrate beside taking 24 months to process. Is there any guarantee that after paying all their required fee and having no criminal records plus a skill u will eventually get the Visa once u score more than 69 points on the test. Anyone been through the process and succeed? I need more information before I set myself for Canada and start the process. Since canada has opened its door to skilled workers why do they need one to have a fat bank statement yet u going there to work? Does using an agent increases my chance of legally immigrating there? And yes am from africa very hard working married with 2 children and we want to do this the legal way. Is there any easier way to immigrate to Canada? Man I need all the information there is to this immigration thing coz dont need to start and bail out half way through the process.

What is the current policy for US Permanent Residents traveling to Canada and back to the US?
We are going to Canada and my spouse is a United States Permanent Resident. What do we need to bring to travel to Canada? I am asking pertaining to both of us. I am a US Citizen. I checked the official sites, but couldn’t find what I was looking for pertaining to my spouse specifically. We are traveling in the end of the month.
