What are the penalties for working illegally in Canada (before obtaining Citizenship)?
If someone came to Canada, worked illegally for a few months, then got married, then obtained residency and finally obtained citizenship, what are possible consequences this person could face if the authorities find out about it at this point? What is the likelyhood that they would enforce them?
How difficult is it and what is involved in obtaining citizenship for Canada?
Not to sound unpatriotic but I am considering moving to Canada at some point. I had tried to move over ten years ago and remember the process to gain citizenship was a royal pain.
How would I go about obtaining it now or in the future and how easy/difficult is it? Thanks in advance.
