Is a US-born child of a naturalized US citizen born in Canada eligible for Canadian citizenship?
I see that a US citizen born to a Canadian outside of Canada is eligible IF the parent is a Canadian citizen at time of birth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_nationality_law#Canadian_citizenship_by_descent), but I am not clear if this holds if the Canadian-born parent is a US citizen at the time of the birth.
I am recently a naturalized us citizen working in canada with a work permit. Can I become a canadian resident?
I have been working in canada for three months with a work permit. I recently became a naturalized us citizen. I want to become a canadian resident because my girlfriend is canadian and we want to live together in canada. Can I apply for a green card in canada and will this affect my us citizenship..? Thank you.
