Posted May 18th, 2012 by immigratecanada and filed in Immigration to Canada

I have been a Canadian resident and own a Canadian corporation. Now, I am getting to my retirement age, and wish to live somewhere outside Canada where the climate is warm and no snow. I would ask my son-in-law to take care of my business when I live south.

I plan on moving to Canada in a couple of years and I need to know how long you have to live there to apply for citizenship. I also need to know if you have to be a citizen of Canada to join in their military. I would like to join the Air Force if possible when I move there.

I want to live in a country that has less or no racial discrimination, lower crime rate, better weather( I like typical spring and fall), and less natural disasters.
