should i now get services from an immigration lawyer?

Posted October 31st, 2010 by immigratecanada and filed in Immigration to Canada

add on to the earlier question of me if i get deported which to my analysis is still very unlikely at this moment having been issued a permanent resident visa here in canada, should i need a lawyer then as my wife now informed me that she has sent mail to the CIC of my deportation, etc. she has been harassing me and that insisted to see me soon?she gave me choices:1. that i go with her in toronto asap; or 2. drag me to the airport and send me home? are there laws that could prevent her from harassing me?
i need help.please give me fitting advice attention: vivac and cali!please. thanks.

Immigration Law and marrying a Canadian?

Posted October 21st, 2010 by immigratecanada and filed in Immigration to Canada

Hello. I would like to marry a Canadian citizen (who was originally from Singapore), who in 1999 lied on her tourist visa application stating she had never visited the U.S.when she had. She was caught and told to “never come back.” Can I still marry her and have her become a U.S. citizen?

Additionally when she was 15 she ran away from home to the U.S. to escape an abusive situation, was forced into prostitution to survive, and then was kicked out of the country when immigration found out she had entered illegally. Please help, thanks.

Does anyone has experience doing any process of Immigration to Canada?

Posted October 14th, 2010 by immigratecanada and filed in Immigration to Canada

Is Migration Expert a good option to start with a process for the visa to work in Canada? I don’t know how so reliable they are, and I received an email from them to go to the next step which is the payment.
If you have any experience in that please advise with a immigration agent please advise.
Thanks!

I’m a US citizen who was recently denied entry to Canada for a camping trip. Does anyone know how they get our data, and what that data entails? Is it only convictions (as they Canadian immigration web site states), or do they get a complete record of any and all arrests?
