my lawyer company is in the process of filing dissolution. He is a canadian but at this moment outside canada. According to retainer agreement the Training Program fees are fully refunded but my lawyer want to refund only one quarter of that sum. I have never claim to anyone in my life and do not know where to begin, moreover I’m from italy wheras my lawyer is in canada. Can someone please help me?

Do you know of anyone who has gotten married to someone who is from another country and they apply for permanent residency and then they live in Canada.. I know you have to go to an interview to determine if your marriage is real.
Is there only one interview and that is all? Or if they are suspicious do they make you keep going to more interviews in Canada?
Also do they show up at your house every now and then?
For how long do they do this?

one more question.. when you sponser your spouse, do you have to be in Canada the whole time for those 3 years or whatever or can you travel to other places?

I’m applying for loan for university and they ask me my Immigration Category Code.

I’m a permanent resident since 11 years.
Apparently, I can find it in “box 19 of your Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292) issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.”

I can’t find these paperwork, and calling Service Canada or Immigration Canada is worse than trying to talk to someone at Bell.
So is there a way to access these information online, provided my Social Insurance Number?
