Immigrating to Canada wih $200 fee to process the papers and if successful then getting viza???

I learnd about immigrating to Canada and it is similar to Green Card Lottery the diffrence is it costs 200 and plus some paperwork. I was planning to apply but $200 is a lot of money in uzbekistan (central asia). How do you think is it worth risking and applying to this thing or is it realistic to win this thint just i have never encountered anybody who knows anything about it….

I live in India and I was persuading my parents to immigrate to Canada because of personal reasons. They said that you won’t be able to learn your Indian culture and the western culture would spoil my Indian culture. Is it true? Would my Indian culture be spoiled? Please help!

I have family in SSK, which I am told is on the upswing in part due to jobs in the oil industry. I also heard that Alberta is still doing okay, and Toronto is a possibility as well. I know that I would have no problem with Canada’s point system, but I don’t know if it’s worth it now. Can anyone answer first hand?

ok…I have been with my fiance for 3 years…he is from the UK by the way..born and raised, I was born and raised in Canada.
We are expecting our first child this September…and I have a 3 year old from a past relationship…I have done a lot of research online but am confused by all the visa stuff…what I want to know…basically..is based on being with my fiance and expecting a half british/half canadian child…is the anyway for me to enter and get some sort of indefinate stay, and get a national insurance number so I can work eventually?? any help here is much appreciated
also we are planning to get married..and I just like the UK better than canada….plus he’s been here almost 3 years and he cant get a work visa..no one willing to do the paperwork!!

Don’t you have to be a citizen to work in Canada? And don’t you have to live in Canada for three years in order to become a citizen?? Aka…..how could you make money for rent for those three years if you’re not allowed to be working there legally? This is probably a stupid question with an easy answer. Help me out here 😉
