I am currently living in UK and coming up to 16. Me and my boyfriend have our hearts set on moving to Canada after we both leave college and turn 18 or 19 though neither of us have wanted to go into a career that is in demand over there. We have done research, and realised to imigrate we will be marked out of 67. Does anyone have any advice, imformation, or details on how to make this possible for us, thankyou:)

I understand you need a work permit to work for a year before you can apply for permanent residency. Theoretically, is it possible to gain employment in Canada with a criminal justice degree from the U.S.?

I want to move to Canada because of Health Care and hang out in Vancouver until a republican either over turns this or we get universal health care ( Give it to me for free or leave me Alone!) so do I need to immigrate or can I get a work visa? I am just curious because I have heard Canada is a great country. But when I visited, I loved the US. I have an education degree and am from Ireland.

I’m welling to immigrate to Canada I have an aunt there too I think this will be helpful for me but I am scared about the whole thing especially finding a job I am with my wife and its a little bit hard for me to see my self fitting in first I have to secure everything house to stay and a job which pays the house rent and utilities for me my wife

Jeez, no need to get all worked up. I was just curious…I’m not moving to Canada myself, but I see nothing wrong with people that do. They are a lot more progressive than us in many ways, and I admire that.
