I have been wanting to imigrate to Canada as a skilled worker for quite some time but have came across a bump in the road already. I have a 2 year degree (working on bachelors) and have been working as a Marketing Coordinator for the past 3 years. The problem is, marketing does not seem to be on the Skilled Worker Classification List. I had read that there may be a few exceptions and was wondering if anyone knows what they could be? Could I have any chance of becoming a permenant resident or should I just give up hope? I know this is a very long process so want to start while I’m still sort of young.

I am American if that means anything, and really dont want to stay here the rest of my life for several different reasons.

My girlfriend lives in Canada and wants to move here to the USA to live with me. We want to persue are relationship farther and not have to travel every weekend. We have discussed possible marriage to get her here but we both feel this is not the way to do it. What are the first steps we have to take to get her here. What kind of visa or green card form do we fill out on the immigration site. I need as much help as possible and please only serious answers.

I am an experienced web designer from the United States and am interested in moving to Canada, either Ottawa or Toronto. I have done all the research on imigration laws and such as well as the skilled workers program. However I am having a hard time finding work from sites like monster and careerbuilder. Are there canadian sites where I can find work? Like what Monster would be to Americans, Monster Canada does not seem to have many postings.

I was also wondering if anyone knows how long it is to become a permenant resident so I can go into the skilled worker program? Like all the paperwork and such, I cant exactly give up my job here before I move and have a job there.

i have met a man born and raised in canada i live in the us would like to know if we were to get married how would this work out for us on living in the us would he be able to draw his disability still or retirement from canada

my wife is canadian and we did apply in december 2007
and in may 2008 i did the inervieu
and the imigration guy told me that i have to prove that iam goin to leave in canada so we need to get house and jobs and inshurance and he give me piriod of 60 days
now the 60 days is over and we already send him what he need in fax , ,so whats gonna happend next i chek on the net and every one he case deffrent but we did every thing that they want , any one know whats next , cuz theres no other way to cantact them , how long we should wait ??????????
