we dont have visas etc yet, but we plan on doing so once we have decided it’s for us. Will it be hard to find work, without having a visa?

Immigration Woes – Brandon woman, Lesley Kretai, fights to reunite with husband, Arafat Moomen

On Wednesday, February 16th, 2011, CBC Winnipeg aired a short news story about my and Rockey’s immigration woes on the Supper News and another, shorter clip on the Late Night News. They also aired stories on Radio One on the morning show, noon show and throughout the day. Rockey applied for a Permanent Resident Visa to Canada in October 2007. In August 2008 it was approved then revoked days later. It was finally refused March 2010. I filed an appeal in May 2010. We are STILL waiting! How can Citizenship and Immigration Canada explain this injustice? Please petition the Minister of Immigration, Jason Kenney on Arafat Moomen and Lesley Kretai’s behalf!

My sister married her husband in Las Vegas but they want to start their lives together in Canada. Can they wait in Canada for their Canadian paperwork, or work while in Canada? Can the kids go to school in Canada? Does she have to apply for a US visa to stay longer than 180 days while she waits for her family’s paperwork?

Sponsoring my husband to immigrate to Canada. How can he work in the process?

I am sending out immigration forms for my husband. We’re applying from within Canada, but he’d like to work while it’s processing. Which forms would we fill out for that, and when would I send them? With the immigration forms or after I’m approved as a sponsor? Or none of the above?

Hi My husband and I are looking into emigrating to Canada. We have 4 children 18,16,14 & 12.?

We need an area with good education including school, college and uni and we would like somewhere with a good friendly community (something we seem to have lost in UK). We would like to be able to enjoy the outside life where our children can be safe. Really any advise on emigrating to Canada would be really appreciated. We would also love to hear from anyone who has emigrated to Canada themselves. It would be great to hear your experiences.

Thanks in advance
