With the the US health care system in so much trouble is it time to go to Canada, Australia?

No Kidding. I know if we have a good job many of us get half-way decent health care in the US. But wow. In today’s environment who can ensure that the company they go to work for today will be around tomorrow. How does one emmigrate to other countries from the US? Is it difficult? Are there enough benefits of living in Canada or Australia that make that a more desirable location. I just read statistics where in the US only 15% percent of the folks are happy with the health care and 25% In England. Not great numbers for England but better than the US. I am trying to think outside the box!

Think about it: If we had NAFTA, why can’t we do the same with health care?

Why can’t you travel to Canada and use your health care service in Canada just as a Canadian could do the same when traveling to the US?

If you have dual citizenship in the US and Canada, are you entitled to Canada’s free national health care?

From what I’ve heard, Canada has free national health care. I want this too, but it looks like the US isn’t going to get it for a while yet. I’m a US citizen who’s thinking of applying for dual citizenship with Canada. This would be only one of the reasons, but it is certainly the most appealing. I just want to know if I am entitled to it if I apply for dual citizenship.

I’m pretty sure that this would not be a detriment because of its’ discriminatory nature, but can a minor history of mental health affect ones chances of immigrating here to Canada?

If 45 million Americans want health care so bad why not just immigrate to Canada?

Not only would you instantly get universal health care but because of Global warming Canada is becoming a much nicer place to live in terms of weather and they’ve got plenty of space for millions of new citizens. Plus most of them speak English and it’s very easy to visit the US. It would be just like living in the US only w/o any Republicans living in it. Now if that ain’t a win win situation I don’t know what is.
