D Prave-Welcome To Hamilton

‘Prave grew up in war-torn Peja City, Kosovo during the KLA uprising and ultimately fled with his family in fear for their lives first finding refuge in Germany. In 1998, his family immigrated to Canada, first to Scarborough, Toronto for a year, then finally settling in Hamilton in ’99. It’s in those two cities, where the word play wizard honed his craft gaining a small, local underground following as he handed out mix tape after mix tape to anyone and everyone who wanted them. As with any youth trying to make sense of this world, ‘Prave wasn’t without his problems. In grade 11 at Sir John A. McDonald, the emcee was involved in a brawl with the school football team which resulted in him getting expelled from school.
