This documentary is about a Liberian family who moved to Canada as refugees. Their son, Emanuel, was diagnosed with cerebral malaria during the Liberian Civil War (1999-2003) and could not get proper treatment. They had to flee to Nigeria and live in refugee camps for 5 years until they were accepted to come to Canada….
