Can disabled people emigrate to Canada?

I am currently a UK citizen but would like to emigrate to Canada. However, since I have a long-term disability which prevents me from working I’m not sure if this is possible. Do you have to be able to work to emigrate to Canada?

Thank you for any information.

I Want to apply for my family in India for Canadian immigration in family sponsored scheme. My family includes my parents and a mentally disabled brother who is 23 ,will he be granted Canadian immigration since he mentally disabled and dependent on my parents?I meet one lawyer he suggested me that Canadian immigration doesn’t grant immigration to mentally disabled as they consider them as liability and because of that reason even my parents will be denied immigration. Can someone who has knowledge tell me what should I do in this case, please put some light on my case
