Hi,
I am thinking to immigrate to one of the four countries: US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Me and my fiancee have decided to settle in one of those but haven’t been able to finalize which one to choose. We are from Asia and both of us are working as software engineers. I am in UK and my fiancee is in US.

Any suggestion regarding the quality of life, job security, immigration… Any strong reason to choose one over others?

I dont understand how the Queen Elizabeth 2, can be the monarch of a foreign country, i understand the cultural and historical reason to have strong ties with England, so is Canada a independent country or not, why do they maintain this relationship with the queen, can someone please explain…?

America, Australia, UK, France, Germany, Canada etc…

All majority white and are all experiences a wave of immigration from the third-world and Mexico and our way of life is being threatened.

And why are decent non-white countries like Japan not open to emigration?

I will appreciate detailed answers. Also, it is imperative to include where you obtained the information in your answers, even if it is from personal experience.

This is NOT a homework assignment. I am asking for general information.

For example- Latin American and Oriental folks immigrate here. But Caribbean and Indians immigrate to the UK. Why is this? And an even better question: Why not immigrate to Canada instead? There’s more room.

I kept looking but all I found was China so it is confuzing me.

I was born in Canada, but I ve heard from friends and classmates that immigration Canada discriminates. For example, someone coming from Nigeria would usually have a much harder time coming here than someone from China. Im just curious to hear people’s experiences or their opinions on this.
