From what I’ve read, you need to have a permanent residence and live in Canada for 3 years before you can become a citizen. What happens during that time of living in the country without actually being a citizen in terms of taxes, healthcare, employment, etc?

Are certain professions viewed more favorably than others in the immigration process. The health care field for example.

My dad is Canadian..I was born Im America..I never been to Canada.. Im 32 and he said I needed to sign papers by the time i was 28 to still keep my dual citizenship..Is this true? What do i need to do to get my citizenship back..I want to move there to work..Thanks for any advice

we thought it would make us more “flexible” with living in UK or Canada also we can sponsor direct family in to Canada if we become Canadian citizens

I plan on moving to Canada in a couple of years and I need to know how long you have to live there to apply for citizenship. I also need to know if you have to be a citizen of Canada to join in their military. I would like to join the Air Force if possible when I move there.

I am in London now and I was wondering what do you need to obtain permanent citizenship in Canada? (I`m planning to move there next year in Toronto). While on the case if you know can you tell me some short information of the life and people there? thx
