Immigrate to Canada
expired next year summer. I don’t think I can get the approval before the expiry date. Do I have to leave Canada after work permit is expired? Can I be a student in Canada and can wait to the approval? I am a Japanese.
Can anyone tell me what is the application process for immigrating to Canada and what is the eligibility criteria for it?
A friend of mine is an international student at UofT and he is looking to apply for immigration in Ontario. He will be graduating this year and would be applying in the skilled worker area. he has had some work experience on campus (working in the student centre as an information assistant and other administrative jobs) and has also worked in food services on campus (in the kitchen). These have been part-time jobs. He also has other internship experiences which he is sure will count. What he would like to know is whether the on-campus jobs will count towards his work experience for immigration purposes

I am sponsoring my mother to Canada from Hong Kong. They are asking why my mother and father aren’t applying for immigration together. They are asking for proof of separation or an explanation. But they are not separated/divorced; my father doesn’t want to move just yet, but my mother wants to.
