Is it hard for American citizens to immigrate to Canada?

I was just wondering if anyone knows about Canadian immigration policy when it comes to American citizens. Any info would help. Thanks!
Jeez, no need to get all worked up. I was just curious…I’m not moving to Canada myself, but I see nothing wrong with people that do. They are a lot more progressive than us in many ways, and I admire that.

I’ve seen the forms, but I’m confused as to having to have a certain amount of money to get there, and on a lot of other issues. Any advice from someone who’s done it already would be great. Thank you all in advance!

Can an American that applied for permanent residence(by marriage to a Canadian) stay in Canada?

If the married Canadian and American have applied to have the American move to Canada, can the American stay in Canada?

I know it’s a maximum of 6 months to visit as a tourist, but is there a way to extend the time if you’ve applied for permanent residence?

I believe it may depends on if the application is inland or outland, but outland seems to be the best choice for these applications.

Thanks!
