My parents and I moved to the United States 18 years ago when I was only a few months old. We are currently undergoing a quest to gain citizenship through an asylum process. I was just wondering, if our case is denied in the United States, is it still possible to seek citizenship in Canada where we have never been? Would the troubles we are undergoing in the United States serve as an obstacle to our acquiring citizenship in Canada? Please help for I am really confused. Thanks in advance!
