I am from Punjab (India). I want to apply for fresh passport. I have heared from some travel agenst dat its compulsory to have surname to immigrate to canada. is it right ??
if anyone’s name is “Rajinder Singh” can he use “singh” as surname ?
n can u tell dat is it compulsory dat all family members have same surname ? or it can be different.

We are Australian and have submitted an application to immigrate to Canada under the skilled workers program. The Canada consulate have advised it will take a minimum of 13 months to be approved. We want to know if anyone has apply for this visa and how long it took.

He will apply through Skilled Worker application, and I will apply as his dependent since I have fewer points than he does. What are the application forms that we will need?
Also, both of us are originally from mainland China , and have been living in the United States for almost ten years for school and work. So the question is: should we choose Simplified Skilled Worker application or Regular Skilled Worker application so that the application process will shorter.
